Video Clips from My Georgetown University Talks
The great people at the Center for New Designs in Learning & Scholarship (CNDLS), who hosted my visit to Georgetown University last month, have not only posted videos of both of my talks there, but they’ve also excerpted portions of those talks focusing on particular topics and made those excerpts available online, too.
From my first talk, “Classtime Reconsidered: Motivating Student Participation and Engagement,” they’ve shared a 6-minute clip on times for telling:

And from my second talk, “Connecting with Participatory Culture: Clickers and Deep Learning,” they’ve shared several short clips. Here’s a 2-minute clip on clickers and anonymity:

Here’s a 3-minute clip on using clickers to foster discussion:

If you’d like to see the entire talks, those are available, too: Classtime Reconsidered and Clickers and Participatory Culture. Thanks again to CNDLS for hosting me and for sharing these videos.
