Using Visual Thinking in the Classroom (University of Iowa)

I’m giving a talk today at the University of Iowa on visual thinking in the classroom. Below you’ll see the Prezi for my talk. You can move through the Prezi by clicking the forward button, or you can pan and zoom at will using your mouse. You’ll see a number of links in the Prezi; click on any of these for additional information. And be sure to go “off path” as you explore the Prezi. I’ve included a few “Easter eggs” (additional examples and visualization tools) around the canvas.

Update: At the end of the workshop, I asked participants to complete a “visual minute paper,” illustrating their ideas for using visual thinking in their teaching. Here’s what they came up with!
