For your second blog assignment, write a post between 200 and 400 words that responds to the following question:

The Great Cipher, described in Singh Chapter 2, was used by Louis XIV and remained unbroken for 200 years.  What were the factors that led to such a secure cipher?

Please (1) give your post a descriptive title, (2) assign it to the “Student Posts” category, (3) give it at least three useful tags, and (4) include a Creative Commons licensed image in your post that somehow (concretely or abstractly) represents an idea in your post. To find Creative Commons licensed images, I recommend using the search tool Compfight, making sure to select “Creative Commons” in the options you see after you search. We’ll talk about using images in blog posts during Tuesday’s class.
