The Best Picture category gives some very interesting results. The Fellowship of the Ring wins by a nose under Plurality Voting since it had the most first place votes -- 34 to 33 over A Beautiful Mind. However, A Beautiful Mind wins under the Borda Count since it had twice as many second place votes as Fellowship. This is a case where the voting procedure does matter, and there's strong evidence that the Borda Count produces a better winner.
