Teaching Math with Clickers
I’ve been meaning to post a link to this for a while now, but it’s been a busy month around here. I find Maria Andersen’s blog on teaching mathematics with technology to be consistently interesting and useful. Earlier this year she was going to be out of the country for a while, so she invited readers to contribute posts to her blog in her absence. My contribution on teaching math with clickers was posted last month. In the post, I describe my general strategy for using clickers in my math courses, outline a few reasons using clickers can enhance a math class, and link to a few math-related clickers resources.
Maria’s blog is worth checking out if you’re interested in instructional technology, whether or not you teach math.
