Derek,

Is there a recorded version of your talk available anywhere? Or a notes section? I am a curriculum technology integrator at a public high school, and I really like your ideas about how to use clickers to promote critical thinking; I can make out most of the ideas from the silent Prezi, but I’d love an even more specific version, so that I can help teachers use your ideas.

I really appreciate how you’ve examined the ways our students naturally participate online in order to push the use of clickers into new areas.

Thanks for the comment, Mark. I’m glad you find these ideas interesting! I asked about an archived version of this talk, and there is indeed one available. Here’s an AVI video of the talk. That’s a big file, so it may take a while to download. It’s possible Turning Technologies will post a streaming version at some point, but the AVI file is all I can offer at this point.

Thank you! I ran a small inservice for teachers last week, and they were very receptive to your ideas. People are definitely looking for ways to use the clickers beyond reviews and quizzes.

I’ve downloaded the .avi of your talk, and I’ll let you know when I have more questions.
